Ralph Hutchinson

Chairman

Ralph Hutchinson founded Daytona Homes over 25 years ago, and today is responsible for the leadership and governance of Hutchinson Family Holdings. 50 years ago, in April of 1969, after graduating from the University of Alberta, Ralph joined Cardinal Homes in Guelph, Ontario. Since then, his career has involved all facets of housing and land development. A consummate family man, salesman, marketer, entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist, Ralph thrives on the relationships that have been instrumental in the growth and success of Tacada, from the small start in 1993 to today’s significant influence in Western Canada’s shelter industry. He believes the integrity of a win-win relationship with Tacada’s customers is integral to all of Tacada’s business entities. Ralph continues to mentor and coach, while serving as Chairman of Tacada.

Tally Hutchinson

Chief Executive Officer

Tally Hutchinson joined Daytona Homes in 1994 and over the years has enjoyed many roles within the company, playing an intricate part in the growth of Tacada. Tally held the role of President of Daytona Homes since 2008 and prior to that was in the position of Vice President of Housing for four years. In his role as Chief Executive Officer of Tacada, Tally is responsible for maximizing shareholders’ return on capital, clear direction and vision for the company that is sustainable and drives continual organizational growth while ensuring the proper functioning of its operations. Tally proudly volunteered for CHBA Edmonton, UDI AB, CHBA AB and Bild AB, and holds a diploma as a Construction Engineer and was one of the youngest people in Alberta to earn his designation of Master Builder.

Casey Hutchinson

Chief Strategy Officer

Casey Hutchinson has led various Hutchinson Acquisitions Corp. (HAC) businesses over time beginning in 2004 with the acquisition and construction of Daytona Self Storage. This was followed by the acquisition of A&B Concrete Pumping in 2007 and its subsequent scale out to Reach Construction Services Group. He led HAC into commercial/industrial real estate in 2010, next contributing to the growth of housing partnerships as President of HAC in 2016. Through these experiences, Casey has been exposed firsthand to many aspects of acquisitions, scaled strategic growth, partnership, succession and governance. As Chief Strategy Officer of Tacada, Casey ensures consistency in governance, business framework and performance metrics across all business units in pursuit of long-term strategic goals.

Stephen Amonson

President of Residential

Stephen joined Daytona Homes in 2005 and after 3 years transitioned into the role of President/Partner of Ashcroft Master Builder in Lethbridge which he led for 8 years. In 2015, Stephen took on the role of Managing Director for the Hutchinson Acquisition Corp.’s housing companies and provided leadership and oversight to our residential partners. He has held the position of President for both CHBA Lethbridge and CHBA Alberta, Director for the Alberta New Home Warranty Program, PHBI and the CHBA National Board. In his new role as President of Tacada Residential, Stephen will oversee all 8 housing companies, and with nearly 25 years in the home building industry, Stephen brings extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of residential construction.

Brad Fink

Chief Financial Officer

Brad Fink joined Daytona Homes Group of Companies in 2004 as Corporate Controller and transitioned into the role of Vice President of Finance for Hutchinson Acquisition Corp. (HAC) in 2007. In that role, he developed financial programs and processes to facilitate housing start-ups and strategic acquisitions. In his new role as Chief Financial Officer for Tacada, Brad is responsible for the creation and integration of financial strategies focused on the optimization of capital. He provides oversight on all administrative, financial, and risk management operations in support of our residential and investment companies. In addition, Brad oversees essential shared services including safety, technology and human resources. Brad has a B.Com from the University of British Columbia and holds a CPA, CA designation.

Jordan Davis

President of Investments

Jordan Davis joined Daytona Homes Group of Companies in 2015 to start up the Properties division of Daytona Homes. In his role as Vice President of Properties, he was responsible for the acquisition of new properties, as well as the construction and ongoing management of existing properties. In his new role of President of Investments Jordan continues to oversee the Properties division within Tacada, which has expanded to include all income-producing asset classes. In addition to this, Jordan will oversee Tacada’s Communities division. Jordan has over 20 years of experience with land and property development both within private organizations and publicly traded companies. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and holds a P.Eng designation.

Amanda Friesen

Vice President – H.R. & Corporate Services

Amanda joined Daytona Homes in 2011 in the role of Human Resources Coordinator and grew into the role of Human Resources Manager within 2 years where she oversaw the people side of the business in addition to leading the administrative team. From there, Amanda transitioned to additionally provide leadership to our corporate team including Safety and I.T. In her new role with Tacada, Amanda will provide similar services to all of the Tacada business units focusing on unity within our group while ensuring distinct and organic cultures to grow within each. Amanda holds a B.Comm degree from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing her CPHR designation.

Billy Carreiro

Vice President - Finance

Billy Carreiro joined Daytona Homes Group of Companies in 2008 as Corporate Controller after six years in public accounting at a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm. He transitioned into the role of Vice President of Finance for Daytona Homes Group of Companies in 2016. In his new role as Vice President of Finance for Tacada, Billy will continue to be responsible for developing and maintaining the financial management strategy, financial and management reporting, and corporate policies and procedures for all Tacada companies. He oversees all aspects of the finance division and directs and coordinates financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize return on investments and increase productivity. Billy has a BComm from the University of Alberta and a CPA, CA designation.

Ross Yaremko

Vice President - Communities

Ross Yaremko is the current Vice President of Tacada Communities and has been with the Daytona Homes Group of Companies since 2002. He is responsible for the direction and coordination of all land development activity for Tacada Communities divisions and oversees land expansion, land development research, financing, and managing builder/developer relations. Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Land Economics and Real Estate from the University of British Columbia.

Thomas Erickson

Vice President - Properties

Thomas Erickson joined Daytona Homes Group of companies in 2014 as the Managing Director of real estate. Utilizing his construction background, he helped initiate the commercial real estate platform within Daytona Homes Group of Companies. In his current role as Vice President of Properties at Tacada, Thomas is responsible for leading the performance of the properties team across Canada, with a focus on expanding the properties divisions portfolio of income producing assets. This includes overseeing all real estate disciplines, development projects, property management, leasing, market research, portfolio finance, value add acquisition and disposition strategies, while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Thomas holds a BComm and routinely volunteers his time for a variety of community service works.
